00:00-05:08: Duck talks about how he initially conceived and wrote Couch Aliens 10 years ago and its rebirth for the 2010 Fringe Festival. Jesse and Phil talk about their individual characters–MAX and Gordon–and how they end up together.
05:08-08:24: Television has a large presence as a point of conflict between Jesse and Phil’s characters. Duck also discusses the effort creating the imaginary language, Mermish.
08:24-11:14: We talk specifically about the set, inter-dimensional travel, and the rise of sci-fi shows.
11:14-14:45: The rehearsal process and flexibility and exploration within that setting.
