#141: Story Time Time Bomb

Tim Wick and Christopher Jones of Story Time Time Bomb discuss comedy, art, and keeping the kiddies entertained.

00:00-05:25: We begin on a nerdy note, talking about the origins of the sounds “snickt”, “bamf”, and “thwip”, CONvergence, and Chris and Tim’s other work.

05:25-09:39: Chris talks about KABAAM! and doing artwork as the show is progresses and how this element carries over into Story Time Time Bomb‘s premise.

09:39-11:48: We talk more on structure, how kids influence the show, and keeping kids interested.

11:48-13:38: We talk about the influence of the director in shaping improv, specifically catering to the challenges of an arena space.

13:38-16:20: We wrap up discussing set and the show’s appeal to adults.

Story Time Time Bomb runs August 6th, 7th, 10th, 14th, and 15th at the U of Minnesota Rarig Center Arena as part of the Minnesota Fringe Festival.
