I first saw Joe Egg when Hamline University mounted it under the direction of Ben Kutschied in 2004. 8 years on from that production, Ben returns to direct it again. What makes Joe Egg so appealing for Ben–and Randy Schmeling, who is reprising the role of Bri he did in a Gustavus Adolphus production–is a focus of this podcast, along with how a play changes when you mount it with 8 years difference of life and directorial experience.

A Day in the Death of Joe Egg runs from Friday, Nov. 30th through Sunday, Dec. 16th at the Red Eye Theater.
